NEOGOV is seeking a Utility Master Analyst - Critical Infrastructure Security to join the Regulatory Commission of Alaska in Anchorage. This role involves developing strategies to protect critical infrastructure for Alaska's utilities and providing regulatory analysis and recommendations.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Commission to develop strategies to help protect critical infrastructure for Alaska’s utilities

Perform analysis of complex regulatory matters and provide recommendations to the Commission both verbally and in writing

Participate in the adjudicatory process providing guidance citing to agency precedent, the public record and statutes and regulations

Required

Knowledge of methods, tools, and procedures, including development of information security plans, to prevent information systems vulnerabilities, and provide or restore security of information systems and network services

Preferred

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a major in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, communications engineering, or information technology

Five years of professional experience related to power system operations and engineering, network communication system development and operation, industrial control systems and sensors, or information technology cybersecurity, may be substituted for the bachelor's degree
