Responsibilities

Work on scripts to support database modeling and data pipelines
Support ESRI and Oracle data to capture and content management processes
Work with .NET developers to develop and deploy minor application enhancements
Work as a team member in INDOTS Software Development Lifecycle
Collaborate with development teams to design business intelligence solutions to facilitate data gathering, storage, and retrieval
Participate in projects to help design, evaluate, and tests data infrastructures
Analyze data to produce dashboards, metrics, or other usable conclusions
May also develop user documentation or training materials
Other duties as assigned

Required

Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field
Basic knowledge of the mission and role of INDOT
Basic understanding of state policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
Knowledge of state government structure, administrative procedures, and the legislative process
Ability to research, draft, and edit data and reports
Analytical skills
Ability to handle multiple projects
Ability to operate computer tools
Good research and writing skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills suitable for a wide variety of contacts
Confidence and ability to learn on the job and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
