As a Billing Consultant, you will support billing and customer service for worksite insurance benefits, focusing on problem resolution and complex billing management.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical billing expert on escalated billing items for worksite products such as Group Whole Life, Universal Life and accident and critical illness coverage

Provide excellent customer service to insurance producers, clients and business operations

Conduct billing research and analysis and proactively communicate findings

Full ownership of premium management and complex billing to include:

Responsible for past due premium, suspense and clearing funds timely

Payment collections and customer updates

Billing adjustments and research

Assist with projects and partner with business to ensure solutions and areas for improvement

Develop recommendations and implement processes for continuous improvement

Participate in complex billing related escalation calls

Fully understand operational and regulatory objectives to ensure compliance and service levels

Perform special projects at request by leadership

Act with a sense of urgency and take ownership of each customer interaction
