Responsibilities

Expands existing customer relationships to achieve growth targets
Identifies and create relationships with new customers
Seeks and vets crop insurance opportunities
Promotes the FCE brand in their marketplace
Builds and nurtures Centers of Influence to generate external referrals
Utilizes the 360-degree view of the customer to generate, or act upon, internal referrals to or from credit and financial services
Develops expertise and working knowledge within Ag segments, serving as a Trusted Advisor
Embraces the transformation of the Association through adoption and utilization of new processes, procedures, and digital tools with the intent to deliver a high-level customer experience
Maintains and promotes industry leading product knowledge and expertise in crop insurance through one-on-one and group presentations
Assists other team members with risk management education
Assures all product processing is completed timely, accurately, and within regulatory compliance by assisting and training customers in the completion of required applications, acreage, and production report

Required

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Economics, Finance, Business, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the job
The successful candidate must obtain Property and Casualty License within the first six months of employment
Agriculture, environmental or sales experience

Preferred

Insurance license helpful but not required for hire
