Start in 2026 WinterInside Higher Ed is looking for a Legal Intern to provide legal assistance and education to the KU community. The intern will work under the supervision of LSS attorneys, advising students, assisting with educational functions, conducting legal research, and performing various other duties.

Provides legal assistance, consults with and advises current KU students under attorney supervision
Assists with the educational functions of the office, such as preparing social media post, conducting workshops, tabling, and outreach
Conducts legal research, negotiation, and prepares correspondence
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Be a second- or third-year law student
Have proficient computer skills
Preferred
Experience working with college students
Interest in business law
Law office experience
