Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership for all landscaping and grounds operations across the resort
Oversee the care, maintenance, and long-term planning of landscaped areas, native plants, irrigation systems, and outdoor environments
Lead, develop, and inspire a large team of landscaping professionals, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and pride in craftsmanship
Partner closely with Engineering, Recreation, Housekeeping, Sustainability, and other resort leaders to support guest experiences, events, and capital projects
Manage departmental budgets, labor planning, and resource allocation to meet operational and financial goals
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and Four Seasons policies
Support sustainability initiatives, native planting practices, and environmentally responsible land stewardship
Serve as a visible leader on property, ensuring grounds consistently meet Four Seasons brand standards and reflect the beauty of Hawaiʻi Island

Required

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
Minimum 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in landscaping, grounds management, or a related field, preferably in a luxury resort or hospitality environment
Demonstrated experience leading large, diverse teams in a complex operational setting
Strong knowledge of tropical landscaping, irrigation systems, and sustainable land management practices
Proven ability to manage budgets, labor, and long-term planning initiatives
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required by business needs

Preferred

Familiarity with Hawaiʻi Island's climate, native plant life, and environmental considerations strongly preferred
