C² Technologies is seeking a creative and technically skilled Web Designer to support the SEVP External Training Application (SETA) by designing intuitive, brand-aligned, and Section 508-compliant front-end experiences. This position plays a key role in enhancing the usability and visual appeal of the platform while ensuring compatibility across devices and browsers.

Responsibilities

Implement SCT-provided visual and brand-compliant designs into web templates and training interfaces
Develop responsive, accessible front-end components using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Maintain and enhance existing web pages and interface components
Ensure full compliance with Section 508 accessibility requirements and DHS usability standards
Collaborate closely with software developers, content creators, and federal stakeholders to ensure cohesive user experiences
Conduct cross-browser testing and implement updates based on user feedback and testing results
Stay current on UI/UX best practices and apply modern design trends where appropriate

Required

Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.)
5+ years of experience designing and developing web-based applications and interfaces
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind
Strong understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and Section 508 compliance
Experience with cross-browser compatibility techniques and responsive design
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance

Preferred

Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or eLearning platforms
Familiarity with FedRAMP-authorized environments and secure development practices
Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Figma
Experience supporting federal clients or government training programs
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative design environments
