Responsibilities
Responsible for one or more of the following devices: general X-ray, CT, MRI, digital X-ray, ultrasound, mammography and mobile X-ray
Performs scheduled maintenance and operation verification procedures on complex medical imaging equipment
Repairs, installs and calibrates complex medical imaging equipment devices and systems
Informs managers of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations and any customer concerns
Performs periodic inspections of current inventory status and maintains inventory of common failure parts to ensure equipment uptime
Works with, directs and documents the activities of subcontractors, vendors and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery
Qualification
Required
Experience with MRI, CT and Xray a must
Candidate should be proficient in Mobile X-Ray, Fixed X-Ray and Ultrasound
Preferred
A.S. Degree from an accredited school in electronics or DOD certification or equivalent experience
5+ years working with Diagnostic Imaging Medical Equipment
Experience working in medical facilities in a professional manner
Ability to perform orderly and efficient work while adhering to medical facility policy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
