Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule daily outbound shipments in accordance with customer requirements and company policies
Prepare and verify shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels
Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure timely staging and loading of shipments
Communicate with freight carriers to track shipments and resolve any shipping issues or delays
Maintain records of all shipments and report discrepancies or damages to the appropriate parties
Ensure accurate entry of shipment data into ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Monitor inventory levels of shipping materials (e.g., boxes, pallets, labels) and reorder as necessary
Collaborate with customer service and production teams to meet delivery timelines and priorities
Ensure shipments meet domestic and international shipping regulations
Assist with month-end and year-end shipping reports and audits
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse role
Strong organizational and communication skills
ERP System experience, preferably SAP
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and shipping software (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with domestic and international shipping documentation
Preferred
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
