Instructional Designer - Technology Focus
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking an Instructional Designer (Technology Focus) to support the development and enhancement of online courses. This role involves working collaboratively with faculty and staff to create engaging and accessible learning experiences.

Responsibilities
Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of online asynchronous and hybrid courses
Emphasizes hands-on instructional technology, LMS course building, and digital media production
Work collaboratively with faculty, instructional designers, and online learning staff to deliver engaging, accessible, and high-quality learning experiences
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Multimedia Production, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience with a bachelor's degree
No prior professional experience required
Familiarity with LMS platforms (Canvas preferred) and e-learning authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, H5P, Powtoon, Storyline, Storyblocks, etc.)
Proficiency with media production software (Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, Panopto)
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
Understanding of accessibility standards and online learning best practices
