Responsibilities
Respond promptly to delivery issues to ensure maximum on-road efficiency and an exceptional customer experience
Utilize our routing system to track deliveries, route changes, and follow-up information
Actively listen to customers and accurately document all conversations
Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and patience in every interaction
Collaborate with Sales and Operations to resolve delivery discrepancies and product concerns
Communicate with honesty, integrity, and a customer-first mindset
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Willingness to learn the furniture industry and grow into a leadership role as tenure is established
Strong communication skills, including the ability to read and interpret company documents and build positive relationships across departments
Professional, constructive communication with customers, operations, sales, and executive leadership
Computer proficiency, including comfort with spreadsheets, database applications, and our G.E.R.S. system
Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and collaborate effectively in group settings
Commitment to safety and security procedures; ability to report unsafe conditions and use equipment properly
Reliable attendance and punctuality; flexible availability, including weekends
Ability to work in an office environment for 8+ hours per day
Capacity to manage a high volume of inbound calls with professionalism and accuracy
Ability to comprehend information quickly to address customer questions and concerns
Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn daily departmental responsibilities
