QTS Medical Device Outsourcing offers critical end-of-line services for medical device OEMs. They are seeking a Summer Sterilization Intern to provide technical support focusing on Sterilization, Quality, and Engineering projects, assisting with various sterilization and cleaning projects.

Responsibilities

Provide support for the sterilization and cleaning processing

Learn about and help support the environmental monitoring program

Learn about sterilization and cleaning experiments

Learn more about cleaning and validation processes and procedures

Learn more about and support different sterilization methods

Support projects within Sterilization and help with various sterilization and cleaning projects

Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve

Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements

Qualification

Required

Enrolled in a 4-year degree in a technical field, with an emphasis in Biology or Microbiology or related experience preferred

Microsoft Office proficiency required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with a preference for those skilled in advanced functions (e.g., Visual Basic, ability to set up automations, etc.)

Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail and good organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Technical writing skills

Strong math skills, including knowledge of statistical methods
