Client Engagement Associate

Best Companies Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Client Engagement Associate to support their sales team and ensure seamless execution of key projects after the sale. This role serves as the primary operational point of contact for clients, coordinating all setup tasks and managing project workflows.

Responsibilities

Serve as the post-sale project quarterback, managing all steps needed to prepare and launch select projects
Create, update, and ensure the accuracy of launch books, project workbooks, and pre-assigned employee files
Guide clients through required inputs, answer questions, and follow through on missing or incomplete information
Perform basic data cleanup of client-provided data files to ensure files are research-ready
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs, resolve issues, and maintain accurate information across systems
Track recognition certification eligibility (response rates, score thresholds) and submit requests for badge creation
Maintain an outreach calendar and surface upcoming opportunities to sales reps
Support post-project follow-up scheduling and identify potential upsell or repeat-project opportunities
Identify workflow bottlenecks and partner with leadership to improve processes and reduce manual work

Required

2–4+ years of experience in client service, project coordination, operations, or a similar role
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple active projects
Strong project management, with a proven track record of driving tasks to completion without needing reminders
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to represent BCG professionally with clients
Proficiency in Excel (cleaning, restructuring, formatting datasets)
Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and an understanding of database logic
Comfortable working cross-functionally and exercising sound judgment on when to escalate issues
A client-service mindset with the ability to build rapport and maintain a high-quality client experience
Reliable home internet connection with minimum 50mbps up/10mbps down
