Software Developer III (Salesforce)

Responsibilities
Acts as a software development subject matter expert (SME) and supports IT organizational objectives through the definition, development and execution of related methodologies, processes and tools in accordance with organizational priorities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions across multiple business units
Develop custom applications using Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL
Architect and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools
Conducts code and configuration audits in order to assess accuracy and performance
Implements actions or projects that enhance system design and/or streamline performance and productivity based on analysis
Develops and documents best practices based on management and end-user feedback. Coordinates the installation of new software systems and provides ongoing technical support for moderately complex to complex systems, applications and tools
Creates moderately complex to complex technical documentation and software user guides that enhance the operation, maintenance and development of systems
Anticipates internal/external business challenges and recommends and implements system value opportunities, including process optimization, policies and procedures, and end-user experience improvements
May indirectly lead other, less experienced, software developers in the implementation of medium scale projects or significant components of larger projects, including the planning and estimation of phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Establishes and maintains partnerships internal/external of the organization to maintain a unified approach to software development and assists in facilitating the resolution of software and business information system issues
Provides coaching and mentoring to less experienced software developers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; or equivalent combination of post high school education and experience equal to nine (12) years
8 - 10 years of salesforce development experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
Expert-level proficiency in Apex, LWC, JavaScript, Visualforce, and SOQL
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, and security model
Proven experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools like Mulesoft)
Experience with Salesforce deployment tools, Git-based version control, and DevOps practices
Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud or Experience Cloud
