Responsibilities
Reviews, collects, and evaluates relevant clinical data
Performs cardiac imaging procedures listed below according to established protocols: pulsed, continuous wave, 2D echocardiography, exercise echocardiography, pharmacological exercise echocardiography
Assist with VNUS and/or Laser and Phlebectomy procedures
Takes appropriate actions during patient emergency situations and insures patient safety at all times
Provides technical assistance to physician as required. Prepares echo/vascular report for interpreting physician making all necessary calculations and notations
Qualification
Required
Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent formal training if certified
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must obtain registry within one year of hire
Preferred
College level courses in anatomy, physiology and medical terminology preferred
RDCS or RCS registry eligible; RVT or RVS registry eligible
Two - four years' experience preferred
