Responsibilities
Play a key role on a Scrum team within the Digital Platforms WI Technology organization
Help to craft, build, test, and deliver features that enhance Fidelity’s Digital experiences
Provide guidance and mentoring to other Systems Analysts within the wider Digital Platforms Technology team
Qualification
Required
8+ years of systems analysis experience; a focus in financial services applications is a plus
An understanding of the Agile software development methodology
Ability to perform technical analysis of sophisticated Web application development concepts
Experience with web component design. Direct experience working on a web application and performing web platform analysis is required
API, database query tools, SQL skills. Experience with API testing, understanding APIs from a consumer standpoint
Experience with Splunk or Datadog is required
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Robust critical thinking and analytical skills
Learns quickly and work through ambiguous situations
A technical problem solver comfortable working in a sophisticated and fast-paced environment
Ability to triage system defects in all environments
Strong analytical, facilitation and communication skills including written, verbal, and technology illustrations
Proactive, organized, highly responsive and committed to quality
Applies a long-term mentality to help produce scalable and maintainable solutions
Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
Confidence to convey technical concepts, capabilities and needs to team members, product owners and other internal partners
Asks exploratory questions to uncover hidden or un-identified use cases and requirements
Proficiency in writing supporting documentation including product guides, business process diagrams and/or system workflows
Skilled at influencing team members and external groups
Produce and/or maintain system feature design documentation and user training and materials
Passion to provide guidance on standard methodologies and mentoring support to junior Systems Analysts
Preferred
BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred
