The role involves assisting the Finance Director and CFO with various accounting tasks and requires rotating between two hospital locations.
Responsibilities
Reviews invoices with appropriate Department Heads or other individuals to verify proper invoicing prior to payment
Properly codes all invoices for payment through direction of Accountant, Controller and CFO
Assists in the control and development of the approved vendors for the hospital. Looks for ways to reduce cost
Reconciling statements with the proper invoices and updating vendors with payment status
Accurately matches all invoices with purchase orders
Assists with the preparation and submittal of all outgoing checks
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Considerable knowledge of accounts payable
Demonstrated leadership skills
