Responsibilities

Supports the core functions of EMC clinical applications to enable cost-effective, high quality, efficient, and safe patient care

Implement, administer, and support assigned clinical systems under the guidance of the Information Systems Management team

Address issues and design decisions of moderate to high complexity and deliver clear communication and documentation of complex concepts and issues related to applications, interfaces, data structures, and workflows across the organization

Manage software upgrades and maintenance as well as serve as Project Manager for major Information Systems projects

Coordinate application support with other information technology teams including System Administrators, DBA, Networking, Reporting, and the Help Desk

Implement changes using documented procedures that are compliant with department's policies and procedures

Provide solutions to work orders, trouble tickets and projects for assigned departments

Thorough understanding of assigned applications, ancillary systems, and health system operations
