Responsibilities
Indirect Parts sourcing activity (strategy, analysis, negotiation; target and schedule achievement)
Indirect Parts cost reduction activity (strategy, analysis, negotiation, target and schedule achievement)
Daily activity and support for supplier quality, delivery, development, AP/AR, service parts
Works closely with suppliers and departments to resolve issues critical to the supply chain
Receives and lightly analyzes data (cost evaluations, benchmarking, commercial issues, risk mitigation)
Ability to manage MRO accounts and develop good relationships with suppliers
Ability to achieve due dates and meet company objectives
Continuous development of skills, performance, and workmanship
Support upper management as needed (special assignments)
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in supply chain, manufacturing, business, engineering, finance, or a related field of study plus 1+ years relevant experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years relevant experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
Basic knowledge of SAP, SAP S4/HANA, and/or Ariba procurement software
Familiarity with Japanese culture and open office environment
