Clinical Technology Specialist

Responsibilities

Provides excellent customer service with the ability to work in all medical environments
Reviews, understands, and meets all customer requirements whether expressed verbally or in writing
Follows all customer and position requirements as it relates to policies, procedures, parking, check in/out, credentialing (including, but not limited to, any required immunizations, vaccinations, and drug screening), facility and operating room procedures, patient confidentiality, sterilization, and safety and equipment protocols
Ensures that all supplies and equipment are available prior to the scheduled medical procedure
Reviews and discusses surgical procedure with staff prior to each case
Demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills with surgeons and staff during medical procedures; addresses any issues or concerns with staff in a professional manner
Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to meet customer and business scheduling needs
Adapts to scheduling flexibility requirements including early starts, late starts, extended days, evenings, or working on an occasional holiday or weekend
Ability to work a consistent variable work week schedule including short or long workdays, or occasionally multiple different periods of work within one day
Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to changes in customer schedules, with or without notice, which could include but not limited to long wait periods between surgical procedures that may impact the length of the workday, unexpected add-on procedures, or procedure cancelations
Responds promptly to acknowledging case assignments or communication from management regarding scheduling needs
Demonstrates good teamwork with peers, management, sales, and others to achieve company goals
Communicates matters of significance promptly to supervisor or another appropriate team member
Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and communicates in a positive manner towards others
Leaves equipment, vehicles, and workplace in an acceptable appearance, and condition for other team members
Performs equipment check procedures prior to and at the completion of each procedure
Notifies supervisor promptly if equipment or vehicles need servicing
Loads, delivers, and sets up equipment and ancillary equipment to and from customer facilities
Arrives at customer facilities at least 1 hour before each procedure is scheduled
Cleans and sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment and prepares operating room for equipment use
Completes paperwork and any required documentation timely and accurately; prepares case paperwork, equipment inventory and ensures proper signatures from customer
Processes cases in company software timely; completes facility log as required and provides customer with documentation per their specification
Ensures proper storage of equipment and supplies before and after each procedure
Competently and accurately records and submits company documents, including but not limited to time worked and expense reports
