Responsibilities

Leads on-site registration experience for DAR events, providing customer service, troubleshooting registration issues and, as applicable, facilitating event payments
Serves as the primary communicator for the team's departmental email, triaging and responding promptly to inquiries with professionalism and excellent customer service
Coordinates event registration and data workflows, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across systems
Compiles and analyzes event metrics and reports to inform planning and continuous improvement
Prepares and organizes event materials and supplies, including name tags, signage, and related resources
Directly responsible for inventory management, packing, and post-event clean-up
Maintains the organization and accuracy of digital resources, ensuring files are current, properly archived, and easily accessible across platforms (e.g., Google Drive)
Coordinates event calendar postings for internal and external audiences, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely communication to relevant teams
Maintains knowledge of relevant systems to provide back-up support for event registration and communications as needed
Provides administrative support to members of the senior leadership team including scheduling and meeting preparation, as well as completing operational and logistical tasks
Schedules and coordinates department-wide staff events, meetings, and retreats
Supports managers with interview scheduling and guides managers and staff through DAR specific onboarding and offboarding processes
Coordinates cross-functional and strategic initiatives; including preparing meeting agendas, updates, presentations, and shared documentation to ensure project success
Enacts process improvements that enhance efficiency and consistency across the team
Acts as primary back-up for Finance & Operations Coordinator, as needed, providing general office management, purchasing support, and student employee oversight

Required

Strong attention to detail and proven organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities efficiently
Proven ability to manage, maintain, and analyze data accurately to support reporting, decision-making, and process improvements
Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, tracking, and executing initiatives independently and collaboratively
Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing
Demonstrated good judgment, sensitivity, and diplomacy in providing customer service to alumni, donors, students, faculty, and colleagues
Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies and improve processes
Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a desire to establish and maintain positive & professional working relationships with colleagues, students and team members

Preferred

Knowledge of and/or can quickly learn about UC Berkeley's and the Haas School's vision, mission, goals, objectives, achievements and infrastructure
