3rd Shift Rim Production Manager (Shoku-Cho)

Responsibilities

Maintain quality, productivity, safety requirements, and open communication within department
Compile and review absence reports
Schedule vacation and manpower requirements daily and weekly
Monitor and control scrap; implement scrap reduction activities
Direct 5-S activities
Ensure safe work environment through proper planning and enforcement of safety procedures
Set goals for man hour, piece, and defects
Develop, prioritize, and schedule line improvement activities
Control daily production and ensure accuracy in production recordings
Develop and train team members and Han-Cho’s
Maintain quality levels by ensuring quality checks are performed regularly
Enforce policies fairly and accurately
Analyze production information for implementation of necessary countermeasures
Perform team member performance appraisals
Maintain a positive work environment
Perform other duties as assigned in order to ensure achievement of section, department, or company plan
Supervise and manage all team members in department
