LHH is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant on behalf of a well-established and growing financial services organization that provides accounting and advisory support to investment firms. This role involves overseeing audit and tax preparation processes for investment funds, assisting with capital calls and distributions, and maintaining detailed financial records.

Responsibilities

Oversee the audit and tax preparation processes for multiple investment funds

Assist with capital calls, distributions, and allocations of income and expenses to investors

Maintain detailed records of portfolio company financial activity and investment data

Perform cash flow forecasting and cash management functions for assigned funds

Support the preparation of quarterly investor reports and related analyses

Manage and update investor information within third-party fund accounting systems

Collaborate with internal teams and clients on ad hoc financial projects and reporting requests

Participate in periodic client meetings; limited local travel may be required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

2+ years of experience in public accounting or financial services, preferably in fund accounting or private equity

Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred

CPA designation (or progress toward CPA)
