Responsibilities
Perform systems engineering tasks across all phases:
Requirements analysis
Solution and service architecture
Scheduling and integration
Reliability and resiliency engineering
Testing, evaluation, and maintainability
Analyze and trace user and system requirements to architecture and design components
Review and recommend improvements to cloud services, workflows, and scheduling systems
Design technical solutions based on emerging technologies and mission needs
Mentor junior engineers and support skills development in systems engineering
Translate mission and customer needs into capability requirements and solution designs
Support system integration efforts and ensure seamless implementation
Contribute to:
Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs)
Courses of Action (CoAs)
Trade studies and engineering assessments
Assist with strategic planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or a related technical/scientific field such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems
OR six (6+) years of relevant Systems Engineering experience in lieu of a degree
Minimum of six (6+) years of experience in government or industry in one or more of the following areas: DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) Acquisition Processes, Requirements development processes, PPBES (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System), Systems engineering of large, complex System of Systems (SoS) or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)/Cloud environments
Active TS/SCI clearance and CI Poly
Applicant MUST hold a permanent U.S. citizenship for this position in accordance with government contract requirements
