Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and equipment according to project requirements
Perform detailed engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs
Prepare 2D/3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD,)
Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for design applications
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to ensure quality and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, manufacturing, and quality,)
Review and interpret technical specifications, standards, and industry regulations
Ensure that all designs comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Continuously improve product performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Strong understanding of mechanical principles, thermodynamics, and materials science
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
EIT/FE certification (a plus)
Proven experience in mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing
Experience working with ISO standards
