Responsibilities

Design and simulate RFIC systems for advanced wireless communication technologies, including 5G/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth transceivers and new architectures
Develop and verify block-level specifications to achieve top-tier RFIC transceiver performance metrics by analyzing blocks such as Mixers, Amplifiers, Phase-Locked Loops (PLLs), Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs), and Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs)
Construct and evaluate comprehensive end-to-end RFIC system performance models, emphasizing key metrics such as Noise Figure (NF), Input Referred Second-Order Intercept Point (IIP2), Linearity, Transmitter Power (TX power), and Error Vector Magnitude (EVM)
Perform transceiver lineup analysis spreadsheet development to support system-level tradeoffs and optimization
Collaborate closely on RFIC integration with digital systems
Analyze and mitigate RFIC impairments, addressing issues such as non-linearity, gain compression, and harmonic distortion
