Help Desk Technician
Ashton North LLC is partnering with a Madison-based client to identify a Help Desk / Desktop Support Technician to support a Windows-centric corporate environment. This role combines Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, with hands-on responsibility for desktop support, hardware troubleshooting, and ticket management.
Staffing & Recruiting
Responsibilities
Provide Windows 10/11 end-user support
Troubleshoot and replace PC hardware (memory, hard drives, system boards)
Triage, document, and resolve tickets in ServiceNow
Support PC imaging, provisioning, and deployments
Respond to basic end-user desktop and “how-to” requests
Qualification
Required
Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments
Hardware troubleshooting and desktop support experience
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to be on-site most days in Madison, WI
Preferred
Intune, Windows Autopilot, Active Directory
VPN and remote support tools
ITIL exposure
