HireTalent is a staffing and recruiting firm, and they are seeking a Fund Accountant responsible for providing specialized accounting support for commingled investment portfolios. This role focuses on net asset value execution and ensures all daily accounting deliverables are accurate and timely.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary contact for derivative valuation inquiries

Verify financial information and escalate problem items as needed

Manage daily transaction volume and ensure adherence to quality and timeliness standards

Monitor and resolve accounting discrepancies, including cash breaks and reconciliation issues

Ensure team deadlines and departmental requirements are consistently met

Maintain daily production reports and track progress against key metrics

Collaborate with internal departments to resolve outstanding issues

Follow up on open inquiries and ensure timely resolution

Contribute to management reporting, including Clarity, PVCs, past dues, cash breaks, and risk & audit analysis

Understand the broader impact of accounting functions on the firm’s overall operations

Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity

Required

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Willingness to work U.S. holidays and overtime as necessary
