Responsibilities

Assist with maintenance of equipment and laboratory tasks as needed

Generation of cell lines using CRISPR-Cas9

Protein and RNA analyses, including western blots, and preparation of RNA samples or fixed samples for imaging

Cell culture, including differentiation of pluripotent cells and characterization of cell viability and function

Analyze data. Prepare figures and data for manuscripts and presentations

Required

College degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field

At least one year of related work experience (relevant coursework may count towards experience)

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Excellent record-keeping, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field desirable

1 year of research experience (full or substantial part-time) in a molecular or cell biology laboratory, including experience with standard molecular biology methods such as molecular cloning and PCR, is preferred

Experience with mammalian cell culture and/or mammalian cell differentiation systems is a strength
