Responsibilities

Provide in-house legal counsel on a wide range of commercial and operational matters
Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including supply, purchase, distribution, development, consulting, licensing, real estate leases, IT contracts (SaaS, hardware, services), and quality agreements related to medical device production
Advise on non-disclosure agreements, amendments, and non-standard agreements
Analyze and interpret existing company agreements to provide advice and guidance
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Support due diligence and integration initiatives for M&A activities
Collaborate with internal clients, customers, vendors, and outside counsel as necessary
Manage contract workflows and oversee tracking systems
Serve as key resource for departmental and cross-functional efforts to improve enterprise contract management capabilities, including through collaboration with IT and other departments to optimize contract-related technologies
Identify opportunities to improve legal operations, including through enhanced use of contract forms, templates and playbooks and automation of select processes
Ensure signed contracts are properly stored and communicated to relevant stakeholders
Adhere to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution
Current member in good standing of a bar association in a U.S. State
Minimum 5-8 years of experience with a mid-sized to major law firm and/or in-house legal department as a practicing transactional attorney, with a focus on commercial contracts
Strong background in contract drafting and negotiation
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with management, internal clients, customers and others
Strong attention to detail
Sound judgment, critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage high volume of contracts and multiple projects at once with handle changing priorities, follow through and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Highly responsive, proactive, solutions-oriented approach

Preferred

Experience in manufacturing a plus
Experience in FDA or other regulated industry a plus
Experience with a commercial Contract Management System a plus
