Responsibilities
Assist with tasks or projects related to the area of study
Provide support for day-to-day departmental or team operations
Participate in brainstorming sessions, meetings, and project discussions offering input and feedback when appropriate
Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational efficiency or project outcomes
Help organize and maintain project files, documents, and records
Conduct research and gather information for ongoing initiatives and projects
Help prepare reports, presentations, or other materials as needed
Qualification
Required
Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in nuclear engineering or related degree from an accredited institution
Possess educational knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Reactor core design and analysis, Radiation shielding design and analysis, Nuclear fuel analysis and qualification, Criticality safety, Reactor multiphysics analysis, especially pertaining to transient analysis, Nuclear materials and chemistry, Nuclear analysis software development, verification and validation, Other areas of nuclear engineering or nuclear physics relevant to the design and analysis of small modular reactors, microreactors, and nuclear facilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
In addition to a resume, candidates must submit at least one letter of recommendation as part of the application process
