Responsibilities
Management of Customer Projects for the area of china identified by your superior maintaining close contact with customer and manage all activities during the design-in and product realization phase
Ensuring proper assignment of Accounts and Focus Opportunity
Gain a full understanding of Distributor/Customer issues
Organise the customer support by coordinating internal resources (FAE, Sales, Product Strategy, R&D, Finance and Legal, etc.)
Supervise and oversee all Sales Channels, including both u-blox Account Managers and Distributors of the assigned territory, to ensure proper Account/Opportunity qualification and providing guidance for ensuring full compliance to u-blox inter-territorial Sales Rules and Code of Conduct in the business practice
Liaise with customers and distributors to provide product information, brochures, samples, etc. requested by customers. Support marketing of u-blox products (promotion, events), including market communication
Manage and responsible for Sales representation process – liaise between u-blox and Distributors/Customers, submit documentation to Distributors/Customers, providing information regarding customer credit worthiness, logistic and after-sales support
Maintain direct contact to key Customers (feedback to HQ of current and future requirements and of customer awareness of u-blox in the market)
Ensure proper execution of the price offer by the Account Managers to the Distributors and end-customers according to the approved SPR price and Price list
Ensure that the Account Managers verify with end-customers (with SPR approved price) that all end-customers’ PO quantities and prices for products purchased by end customer from Distributors match with the quantities and prices communicated by Distributor to u-blox. Alert management immediately if there are discrepancies
Ensure that the end customers identified by the distributors exist and that such customers are not fake customers
Do not delete data om your PC or phone regarding communication with customers and distributors
Do not use your private phone for professional communication
Authorise u-blox to collect data on any communication between you and the distributor or the end customer
Prospect the market, provide Sales and Marketing support and manage its implementation
Check Distributors’ monthly POS report and inform management if there are evidences or suspicious of fraudulent activities by any parties (internal or external) involved
Supporting achievements of individual Sales Goals/Objectives
Abide by the anti-bribery guidelines and code of conduct issued by u-blox and ensure that the Account Managers abide by the rules
Notify any attempt of a distributor or customer to bribe you or Account Managers to your superior
Manage, review and control the work of the Account Managers. Set targets and monitor achievement of targets. Implement measures in case targets are not achieved
Ensure compliance with internal processes, directives and guidelines issued by u-blox AG. Ensure that Account Managers comply with such processes, directives and guidelines
Do not enter into an agreement with a customer or distributor on behalf of u-blox AG (this is the exclusive authority of u-blox AG)
Responding all questionnaires from customers in China
Provides a technical market feedback to R&D and Product Management at HQ
Performs periodic technical competition analysis if required
Align information with worldwide Sales colleagues for inter-territorial projects across regions
Perform tasks as may be required by Employer from time to time
Act as Back up for China Country Manager while Country is on leave
Qualification
Required
Experience in business development and customer project management
Strong understanding of distributor/customer issues
Ability to coordinate internal resources effectively
Experience in managing sales channels and ensuring compliance with sales rules
Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and distributors
Ability to provide product information and support marketing efforts
Experience in managing sales representation processes
Ability to maintain direct contact with key customers
Experience in ensuring proper execution of pricing offers
Ability to verify customer orders and alert management of discrepancies
Experience in market prospecting and sales support
Ability to check for fraudulent activities in distributor reports
Experience in achieving individual sales goals/objectives
Knowledge of anti-bribery guidelines and code of conduct
Ability to manage and review the work of account managers
Experience in ensuring compliance with internal processes and guidelines
Ability to respond to customer questionnaires
Ability to provide technical market feedback to R&D and product management
Experience in performing technical competition analysis
Ability to align information with worldwide sales colleagues
Willingness to act as backup for the China Country Manager
