HIV Program Coordinator (33305)

Community Health Alliance is looking for a temporary, non-benefited, full-time HIV Program Coordinator. This role involves managing and coordinating services funded under the Ryan White Part B program to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care for individuals living with HIV/AIDS, overseeing case management, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and facilitating access to medical, social, and support services.

Required

Strong knowledge of HIV/AIDS care, treatment, and support services
Strong knowledge of CAREWare (any software platforms utilized/required by Ryan White)
Proficiency in data management systems and reporting tools
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations
Strong knowledge of current ICD and CPT coding systems as it pertains to HIV treatment
Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, including HRSA, as they relate to an FQHC in Nevada
Skill in communicating effectively to employees, patients, peers, and management
Skill in operating personal computer utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email and other office equipment
Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance in all departmental and personal operations
Ability to accurately interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form in order to meet contract and regulatory requirements
Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with other staff
Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, healthcare administration, or a related field required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in HIV/AIDS program coordination, case management, or public health programs

Preferred

Master's degree preferred
Experience with Ryan White funding and compliance requirements is strongly preferred
HIV/AIDS-related certifications (e.g., HIV Specialist or Ryan White Program Management) are a plus
