Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, repair, installation, and calibration of lab equipment
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with internal infrastructure groups EHS, Facilities, Workplace teams, for lab needs and external vendors to for onsite support and maintenance
Maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring timely reordering and availability for critical operations
Collaborate with technicians and engineers to support testing and process development needs
Document maintenance, calibration, and equipment activities in accordance with laboratory standards
Support daily lab operations, including equipment setup, workspace organization, and refilling fluids for chillers and humidity chambers
Contribute to the continuous improvement of lab workflows and maintain a safe, efficient, and world-class laboratory environment

Required

Hands-on experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems
Strong troubleshooting skills
Proactive approach to maintaining a broad range of equipment while supporting general lab operations
Perform routine maintenance, repair, installation, and calibration of lab equipment
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with internal infrastructure groups EHS, Facilities, Workplace teams, for lab needs and external vendors for onsite support and maintenance
Maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring timely reordering and availability for critical operations
Collaborate with technicians and engineers to support testing and process development needs
Document maintenance, calibration, and equipment activities in accordance with laboratory standards

Proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to read, interpret, and follow equipment manuals, schematics, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient in Windows and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred

2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance within R&D, manufacturing, or laboratory environments highly desired
Working knowledge of electrical systems and instrumentation highly desired
