QC Technician II (IQC first shift)

Responsibilities
Perform wet chemical analyses based on both internal and Compendia (USP, EP, ACS, etc) based methodologies on raw materials (i.e. salts, sugars, amino acids, vitamins, etc)
Perform physical inspection and documentation review of incoming manufacturing components
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
Ability to work in a high paced team environment, prioritize work accordingly
General digital literacy, specifically in Microsoft office programs
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
Occasionally required to enter Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C
Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
Will work with hazardous/toxic materials
Preferred
AAS or Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other Sciences
Experience in a cGMP environment/QC or QA related field
1-2 years of Chemistry lab experience (wet Chemistry lab work and safety protocols)
