Responsibilities

Lead the development of vehicle exterior design with the goal of creating future-icon models that align with the brand DNA, integrating AI-driven design tools and advanced technologies to enhance innovation
Oversee the entire design process from concept sketches and design models to product launch
Foster collaboration with aerodynamics, engineering, and smart technology teams to deliver breakthrough innovations and integrated technical solutions
Establish unified aesthetic standards and a collaborative work culture across Beijing/Shanghai/Munich design teams

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or a related field with a focus on AI/technology-driven design applications
6–10 years of automotive exterior design experience, with expertise in sketching, model-making, and proportion studies
Proficiency in AI-driven tools and technologies
Deep understanding of full-cycle vehicle design and production, including AI-assisted design validation tools
Proven experience leading projects from concept sketches to tooling
Mastery of sketching/rendering software (e.g., Photoshop) and AI tools to optimize design efficiency
Proficient in Alias/Autodesk modeling software and digital workflows (e.g., parametric modeling, real-time rendering)
Strong communication and writing skills
Excellent cross-functional coordination and teamwork abilities
Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills to bridge creative design with engineering feasibility
Innovative mindset: Merge aesthetic design with modern technology to create forward-thinking solutions
Passion for exploring cutting-edge tools (e.g., VR prototyping, AI-assisted concept iteration) to push creative boundaries
