Responsibilities
Provide ISSO Support
Recommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirements
Participate in change management process
Provide security planning, assessment, and risk analysis support
Perform security assessments
Develop security assessment documentation
Participate in security configuration control boards
Validate security configurations
Support the implementing, operating, and maintaining an effective and secure IT infrastructure
Deploy, manage, and integrate security tools
Verify compliance with IT security standards and policies
Develop certification and accreditation documentation
Perform vulnerability scanning
Monitor network traffic
Analyze security logs
Perform security testing
Perform risk assessments
Qualification
Required
8 Years of Cybersecurity and Information Security experience
Bachelors in an IT, Cybersecurity, engineering, or any technical field
TS/SCI clearance
Strong Knowledge of CSAM or similar tool such as XACTA
Willingness to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance, as required to perform duties
Ability to commute to/from on-site job location or willingness to relocate
Familiarity with firewalls and performing firewall log reviews
Familiarity with SIEM systems
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus
Strong Knowledge of NIST 800-53 Rev 4 and 5
Bachelor's degree or better, with a concentration in IT, Cybersecurity, engineering, or any technical field
Experience working with administrators and engineers to remediate vulnerabilities
Experience researching new cybersecurity tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with a team and independently
Attention to detail and proactive approach
Candidate must be US citizen (or be able to prove the right to work in the US for an extended period of time)
Must successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment; based on security clearance level required
Preferred
DoD 8570 IAT level II or greater cert
CISCO
CISSP, CISM, DoD 8570 IAT Level II or greater certs
