They are seeking a Resource Development Consultant to secure financial resources necessary for the growth and sustainability of their programs and services, focusing on building relationships with donors and partners.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior leadership to create a comprehensive resource development strategy aligned with the organization's mission, goals, and financial needs

Identify potential funding sources, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government grants, and assess their alignment with the organization's mission and programs

Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing and potential donors, sponsors, and partners to secure financial support and in-kind contributions

Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, maintaining regular communication and providing updates on the organization's impact and financial needs

Develop and execute strategies to engage individual donors, including major donors, through personalized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities

Organize and participate in donor appreciation events, fundraisers, and other engagement opportunities

Identify and engage corporate partners for sponsorship opportunities, employee engagement initiatives, and cause-related marketing campaigns

Collaborate with the marketing and communications to ensure effective promotion of corporate partnerships

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions, contributions, and grant submissions in the organization's donor management system

Generate regular reports on fundraising progress and outcomes to share with internal stakeholders
