Responsibilities
Consult clinicians to obtain current credentialing information and/or supporting documents to ensure data is current and accurate prior to licensing application submission to avoid processing delays
Prioritize assigned tasks and submit applications within metric benchmarks
Effectively communicate application guidance, instructions and status updates to Team Lead, clinicians, and licensing personnel
Proactively identify and escalate processing roadblocks that may jeopardize the clinician’s start date
Execute system data-entry updates to track tasks and licensing status for reporting purposes
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based research
Knowledge of all state/federal initial and renewal licensing requirements and processes for all clinical positions
Two years' experience with physician group (NCQA) and/or hospital credentialing (JCAHO)
High School/GED Diploma required, bachelor's degree a plus
Knowledge of certification requirements, regulations, company credentialing policy & procedures, and state and federal regulations
Perform all required primary source verifications per NCQA guidelines
Ability to investigate and analyze information
