Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and grow a distributed engineering organization across the U.S., U.K., EU, and India while balancing hands-on technical leadership with strategic direction
Own system architecture and scalability for ANRA’s SaaS platforms, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient global deployments
Partner with product and operations teams to translate complex aviation, regulatory, and operational requirements into technical solutions
Refine and drive our development process and best practices
Drive innovation in geospatial, real-time data, and ML-driven decision engines supporting unmanned airspace operations
Recruit top engineering talent and foster a high-ownership, no-ego culture aligned with ANRA’s global values
Contribute to code and design reviews, leading by example as a senior engineer when needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years leading high-performing distributed teams
Proven experience with cloud-native SaaS systems, real-time or geospatial data, and high-availability architectures
Technical fluency in GoLang, C#, Java, and AWS
Ability to translate business and regulatory needs into scalable technical designs
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to align global teams and convey complex ideas simply
Preferred
Aviation, aerospace, or air traffic management experience is a strong plus but not required
