Responsibilities
Apply customer payments accurately and timely to appropriate accounts
Research and resolve unapplied cash, short pays, overpayments, and discrepancies
Reconcile remittance details and payment records
Maintain clean and audit-ready AR balances
Partner with Billing and AR teams to resolve account questions
Document payment activity and maintain accurate records
Support month-end close activities related to cash application
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or billing support
Strong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, accuracy-driven work
Ability to research and resolve discrepancies independently
Organized, dependable, and process-oriented
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience in professional services or legal environments is a plus
