Bill to Cash Assistant - French Speaker

As a Bill to Cash Assistant, you will review ledgers, reconcile payments, resolve discrepancies, and liaise with account managers and insurance companies regarding payment issues.

Responsibilities

Review ledgers to identify items payable to Carriers/Clients/Sub Brokers, and other entities

Reconcile incoming payments with invoices

Resolve discrepancies

Monitor and track unallocated payments through reporting

Liaise with account managers and Insurance companies regarding payment issues, reconciliation discrepancies, and unallocated cash

Timely and effective responses to all queries, requests, corrections, etc., received from field offices/carriers

Participate in and contribute to potential process improvement initiatives

Following Procedures, Client / Insurance Companies specifications, and adherence to all statutory requirements

As a team member, report to the head office and coordinate tasks among the Lisbon-based Bill to Cash team

Required

Proficiency in French and English (minimum C1 level required)

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Strong ability to prioritise tasks effectively and take initiative

Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred

Relevant experience, Accounting / Finance preferred

Insurance industry knowledge preferred
