Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities

Design of power electronics circuits up to 1200Vdc. These may include items such as op-amps, power sources, DC/DC-Conversion, Logic devices, embedded computing (microcontrollers)
Experience with software tools such as AutoCAD, Space Claim, Creo, Altium and LabVIEW are required
Schematic layout, PCB layout and circuit analysis (electrical and thermal) using simulation tools (Spice, Ansys, MATLAB/Simulink)
Knowledge of typical serial interface communication protocols. Experience using ANSI C, C++ is highly desirable
Ability to maintain focus and complete tasks on time
Experience with ERP software; SAP experience a plus
Good communication and presentation skills required (ability to compile and present technical information to customers)
Hands-on experience required – building of hardware with electrical, mechanical and software aspects is highly desired

Required

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, EE/CS or Physics
2+ years' experience related to primary job function
Design of power electronics circuits up to 1200Vdc

Schematic layout, PCB layout and circuit analysis (electrical and thermal) using simulation tools (Spice, Ansys, MATLAB/Simulink)
