Franchise Development Specialist II

Responsibilities

Understands the business, the profile of a successful franchisee, and our sales process, identifies, works, and manages potential sources of franchisees
Demonstrates the ability to learn and apply the BWI value proposition, organization and supporting shared services and teams that will have a direct impact to conversations with prospects that generates and leads to opportunities to secure new contracts
Initiates and executes outbound prospecting and communication strategies, with a focus on captive agents and IA agent producers/owners, as well as producers in targeted geographic areas
Proactively makes outbound calls or sends emails to prospects to sell company’s features and benefits
Identifies and re-engages current dormant prospect opportunities, providing timely disposition of timing considerations, focusing on states where we have a stronger market alignment and a deep understanding of the market dynamics
Cultivates positive relationship with current franchisees, using them as references for potential franchisees as appropriate
Manages ongoing workload effectively and efficiently; using strong organizational skills, develops calendars and checklists for certain ongoing work
Regularly checks email and other systems through which work is requested
Documents activities and follow up in appropriate systems regularly and accurately
Documents processes followed in order to ensure tasks are able to be replicated accurately
Maintains process and procedure manual for the area
Proactively identifies process improvements that make the department more efficient and effective
Listens to, and incorporates, feedback
Works as part of a team, ensuring work done is complementary and not duplicative or conflicting

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
5 years experience in a related field
Expert in consultative selling and a proven track record of closing complex deals
Superior understanding of the Brightway model, how current franchisees are leveraging
Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy; exceptional attention to detail
Superior customer service mindset; a desire and ability to deliver service that provides a high level of satisfaction
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and must be comfortable with Salesforce and other CRM's
Superior interpersonal skills
Ability to cold call and B2B sales
5+ years of relevant industry experience
Excellent verbal and written communicator; must be able to convey ideas in a clear and concise manner
Excellent independent judgment and decision making
Understanding of Brightway systems; regularly updates activities accurately
Ability to learn, embrace and put into practice new concepts and skills
Superior ability to manage own time, activities and resources; models behavior for others
Can demonstrate Brightway values of Smart, Accountable and Trustworthy
