They are seeking a growth-centric Assistant Editor to join their Post-Production Team, where the Editor will play a critical role in editing original movie notes, promotions, and collaborating with producers on various projects.

Responsibilities

Edit promos

Create versions for promos

Edit in Adobe Premiere, Avid and Resolve

Mix audio for picture as needed

Work with After Effects to create graphics for programming

Collaborate with producers and editors on various projects

Visual storyteller

Mine raw media for bites for various projects

Edit EPK footage

Create marketing videos

Create affiliate videos

Edit internal videos as needed

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualification

Adobe PremiereAvidResolveAdobe After EffectsAdobe PhotoshopPost-production knowledgeCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsTime management skills

Required

5+ years of experience as an Editor

General knowledge of a full-service production facility (production, post-production, graphics, and audio) along with general technical & production equipment knowledge

Strong computer skills are required

Strong written and verbal communication skills are required

Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop are required

Willingness to work extended hours is crucial

Must be able to maintain composure while working in high pressure and fast-moving situations

Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and time management skills are essential to the success of this job

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience

Working knowledge of Avid and Resolve are a plus
