Responsibilities

Workday Development and Configuration
Configure, develop, and support Workday Financial Management and Supply Chain modules, including procurement, inventory, supplier accounts, expenses, and assets as applicable
Design and implement business process frameworks aligned with hospital supply chain and finance workflows
Develop and maintain calculated fields, condition rules, validations, and custom reports
Healthcare Supply Chain Focus
Support hospital-specific supply chain operations, including medical and surgical inventory, non-clinical and clinical supply procurement, par-level inventory concepts, and vendor management
Collaborate with supply chain leaders to translate operational needs into scalable Workday solutions
Ensure configurations align with provider-side healthcare compliance and internal controls
Integrations and Data
Build and support Workday integrations using EIBs, Core Connectors, and Studio as applicable
Support inbound and outbound integrations with ERP systems, inventory platforms, and third-party vendors
Perform data loads, conversions, and ongoing data maintenance related to finance and supply chain
Testing and Support
Participate in unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to finance and supply chain functionality. Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and support during change management initiatives

Required

5 or more years of Workday experience with strong emphasis on Financial Management and Supply Chain Management
Healthcare provider or hospital system experience required; payer experience is not applicable for this role
Demonstrated experience supporting procurement, inventory, supplier management, and finance workflows
Strong understanding of healthcare supply chain operations
Experience working in large, complex organizations with multiple facilities or hospitals

Preferred

Prior experience supporting a large hospital or health system
Workday certifications in Financial Management or Supply Chain
Experience with Workday Studio and complex integrations
Experience with post-production optimization or large-scale implementations
