Responsibilities

Lead initial outreach to targeted accounts in a designated territory
Generate a sales pipeline for the organisation
Communicate daily with engineering roles and senior executives
Engage prospects in discussions about solutions and value delivered by IaC solutions
Uncover business challenges and potential use cases
Liaise closely with the sales team to develop effective account penetration strategies and tactics
Run custom lead nurturing programs
Generate well-qualified customer leads
Gain commitment from highly targeted personas to drive opportunities for the Account Executive team
Deliver the Spacelift value proposition from various perspectives
Differentiate solutions from competitor products and technology
Use specific qualification criteria to determine in-market prospects
Maintain a comprehensive salesforce
Take responsibility for key activity metrics: phone calls, email cadences, and LinkedIn networking
Achieve effective conversion rates of assigned leads
Book meetings, qualified opportunities, and pipeline revenue

Required

1-2 years' experience in an inbound or outbound cold-calling sales environment
Experience engaging a technical buyer at a Senior level
A consistent track record of achieving challenging targets for customer meetings
Excellent phone presence and conversational skills, with the ability to influence
Excellent written communication skills
Committed, enthusiastic and able to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment
Tenacity, with a strong work ethic and self-motivation
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple programs and initiatives simultaneously

Preferred

Experience with Salesforce and an email sending platform
4-year university or accredited college degree
