Supervising the operation, maintenance, and repair of all buildings and infrastructure for the Richmond Campus facility

Planning, directing, and organizing the activities of the unit staff

Assisting the CPO III

Working with a concentration on the Corrective and Preventative maintenance of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Lab renovation projects

Qualification

Journey Level Stationary EngineerHVAC systems knowledgeBlueprint interpretationTroubleshooting mechanical systemsLaboratory equipment knowledgeSupervisory skillsConstruction background

Preferred

multiple years working as a Journey Level Stationary Engineer in a supervision or lead role

trades or construction background

broad understanding of architectural and mechanical blueprints and schematics for projects in development and or in progress

ability to troubleshoot various types of equipment, including state of the art mechanical systems and highly complex laboratory equipment

knowledge of Heating, ventilating, refrigeration, and air-conditioning systems, electrical, water, sewage, elevator, and other mechanical systems, analysis, and treatment of boiler feed water
