The Reconditioning Center Administrator plays a key role in managing vendor relationships, coordinating repairs, processing invoices, and ensuring repair quality to support smooth operations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate And Assign Sublet Repairs With All Vendors

Arrange transportation for off-site repairs

Communicate quality and timing expectations to vendors

Review completed vendor work for accuracy and quality

Process and approve sublet invoices, ensuring correct pricing

Apply vendor invoices to repair orders for close-out

Manage labor and parts coding for repair orders

Oversee tire orders, including processing and payment reconciliation

Collaborate daily with national vendors such as Advance Auto Parts, Auto Zone and NTW (National Tire Wholesale) to manage outstanding invoices

Communicate any issues with sublet vendors to Inspection Center General Manager (ICGM) and/or Inspection Center Recon Managers (ICRM)

Required

High School Diploma or GED required

Valid driver's license and a good driving record

Must be at least 18 years of age

Strong verbal and written communication, follow-up, and follow-through skills

Comfortable operating all vehicles within the Reconditioning Center

Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and vehicle standards

Must be familiar with company standards and assure each vehicle is kept to those cosmetic standards

Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to best practices

Ability to collaborate with management and team leads to assess vehicle repairs and costs

Ability to lift/move objects up to 20 lbs. and work in various positions, including tight spaces

Exposure to varying conditions (cold, heat, noise, fumes, odors) based on vehicle maintenance needs

Must be able to communicate in English to ensure effective performance of the position in a safety-sensitive/technical environment
