Radiology Reporting Coordinator

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clinical operation teams with the primary focus of supporting all clinical applications related to radiologist dictations and reporting
Work and communicate with radiologists providing RIS support, as needed
Work with the System Solutions Team to implement and adjust workflows to improve efficiencies in case distribution and management
Manage all radiologist worklists including but not limited to: All Problem, All Pending Dictation, Critical Results, All Pending, and All Suspended. Escalating concerns as needed
Collaborate with Clinical System Solution Teams to test and implement new software and functionalities related to radiologist workflows
Present findings and recommendations as part of workflow and software implementation
Answers incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner; following established protocols
Call referring physicians to assist radiologist with delivering critical results findings, following established protocols
Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management
Provide coverage for all positions within case management and reporting division as needed

Required

Bachelor's Degree in clinical or science-related area or equivalent work experience preferred
Two (2) years in Health Care communications and/or customer service work experience preferred
Multi-vendor IS experience with RIS/PACS
Demonstrate strong customer service, multitasking, critical thinking, persuasion and analytical abilities, with superior communication and interpersonal skill
Able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision making to achieve organizational objectives
High level of proficiency and demonstrated effectiveness in problem determination and resolution
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
